Who is Oppenheimer?
J. Robert Oppenheimer ( April 22, 1904 – February 18, 1967) was an American theoritical physicist.Oppenhiemer served as the director of Los Alamoas Laboratory during World War II.Sir Oppenheimer is often credited as the 'father of atom bomb'.
Oppenheimer is a biographical movie written and directed by Christopher Nolan, based on the 2005 book American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martian J Sherwin.
What is 'Oppenheimer' about?
The movie tells the story of "the father of the atomic bomb," J. Robert Oppenheimer, whose work at the Manhattan Project's Los Alamos Laboratory led to the invention of the first nuclear weapons during World War II. Oppenheimer is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin, the latter of whom spent more than two decades conducting his research.

Cillian Murphy:-Stars as J. Robert Oppenheimer, marking the sixth collaboration between the actor and director (following The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception and Dunkirk).
Emily Blunt:-Co-star as Katherine "Kitty" Oppenheimer, Robert's wife and a biologist and botanist in her own right who researched the effects of radiation while her husband tested the Atom-bomb.
Florence Pugh plays psychiatrist Jean Tatlock, whom Oppenheimer began a relationship with while he was a professor and she was a grad student and continued to see during his marriage.
Matt Damon plays Lieutenant General Leslie Groves Jr., director of the Manhattan Project, with two-time Oscar nominee Robert Downey Junior as Lewis Strauss, a founding member of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission.
The cast also includes Benny Safdie as theoretical physicist Edward Teller, Michael Angarano as physicist Robert Serber, and Josh Hartnett as nuclear scientist Ernest Lawrence, plus Rami Malek, Kenneth Branagh, Dane DeHaan, Dylan Arnold, David Krumholtz, Alden Ehrenreich, and Matthew Modine
